About the Role:
Our client, a leading insurance and asset management company based in London, is seeking an experienced Investment Data Analyst to join their Data Office team. This role focuses on enhancing investment data analysis, improving data quality, and supporting Data Governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Investment business stakeholders to investigate, analyse, and remediate data issues.
- Lead and participate in Data Governance workshops, creating reports and dashboards to track progress.
- Support Data Owners, Stewards, and Custodians in ensuring effective data management.
- Review and update data policies and standards within the Data Governance framework.
- Partner with technology teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs.
Requirements / Key Skills:
- Experience as an Investment Data Analyst, preferably within financial services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Data Management tools, MS Excel, Power BI, and Data Quality (DQ) analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income instruments, swaps, derivatives, and associated data.
- Expertise in handling Market, Pricing, Custodial, and Positional data.
- Familiarity with Data Governance practices and standards.
- Ability to analyse large data sets, understand processes, and identify data issues.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with modern investment data management technologies.
- Background in insurance or asset management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
