Join Our Client’s Team as a Senior Operations Associate!
About the company: Our Client is a rapidly growing boutique service provider offering outsourced middle and back office services to the asset management industry, with a particular focus on hedge funds. Their team comprises seasoned professionals from the buy side, dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions to our clients.
The Role: As a Senior Operations Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing daily middle and back office support to their clients, predominantly hedge funds and alternative asset funds. You’ll also oversee and manage client relationships and third-party service providers, ensuring seamless operations across a diverse range of products and global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily trade bookings and reconciliations
- Cash and position management
- Corporate actions processing
- Trade settlement queries and reconciliation
- NAV reconciliation and expense accrual management
- FX hedging and fund reporting
- Client relationship management and issue escalation
- Team management and training
- Process improvement and project management
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5-10+ years of industry experience, with at least 2+ years on the buy side or with a Tier 1 administrator
- Strong product knowledge across equity, derivatives, futures, options, and FX
- Experience with fund structures and valuation
- Proficiency in systems such as Enfusion, AlphaDesk, Watson Wheatley iRecs, etc.
- Excellent Excel and IT skills
- Relationship-focused with strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a team
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask effectively
