Overview:
A leading trading firm is seeking an experienced Post Trade Operations specialist to support their metals desk. This is a hybrid role based in London, offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with a focus on the London Metal Exchange (LME) post trade processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage post trade processes for metals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform trade matching for LME trades, ensuring all data is reconciled correctly
- Use LMEsmart to facilitate trade operations and confirmations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve breaks and discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in a Post Trade Operations role, ideally within commodities or metals
- Strong working knowledge of the LME and trade matching protocols
- Hands-on experience with LMEsmart
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
