Job Title: Senior Go Engineer

As a Senior Go Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in developing the systems that power high-throughput cryptocurrency market data – ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability across their platform.
About the Role:
You’ll play a central role in designing and delivering systems that efficiently ingest, process, and distribute real-time crypto market data. This role also offers the opportunity to work with a variety of external APIs and to design new ones, expanding the scope and functionality of a robust data platform used globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and enhance backend systems for processing high-volume data streams
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Go code
- Integrate with external APIs and build out new APIs for data accessibility
- Work across both relational and non-relational database structures
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and performance
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience building high-throughput, scalable, and reliable backend systems
- Advanced proficiency in Go programming
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis, or similar technologies
- Solid grasp of system architecture, performance optimisation, and data processing
- Prior experience working in a data-rich, fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Interest or experience in crypto or digital assets is a plus
