Orbis is partnered with one of the UK’s most successful financial markets specialists as the business is looking to strengthen its backend engineering division! Our client is completely self-funded and is seen as one of the ‘big players’ within the commodities trading space.In this role, you will build and develop business-critical features for complex trading platforms while dealing directly with stakeholders. Alongside these responsibilities, you will be expected to play a key part in the technical decision-making and project roadmapping for the wider business.
Requirements
- BSc degree or higher in a STEM-related subject from a reputable university
- Expertise in Python development with strong exposure/hands-on experience with Cloud-related tools i.e. AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Golang would be a huge bonus (but not a necessity)
- Clear track record of building or making a large impact on complex financial/trading platforms
